Aluminium Canopy and Base
Our Aluminium Canopy and Base is the most tried and tested solution offered at Fleet Trades. Constructed from aluminium, the canopy body along with its dedicated base contours the shape of your vehicle cabin. They’re strong and durable and designed to fit all light commercial vehicles.
The canopy base is constructed in a similar manner to our Heavy Duty Aluminium Trays which is a hybrid of zinc plated mild steel surrounds and aluminium planks. This gives a high strength and vast reduction in the overall weight of the body.
The Aluminium Canopy and Base is ideal for tradies who require a lock up, secure solution for all their valuable gear.
Flat Aluminium Canopy
Constructed from 3 millimetre thick flat aluminium, our Flat Aluminium Canopy provides a robust, hard wearing body at a light weight. It is designed to be bolted directly to an existing Fleet Trades tray body, or an optional tray base can be supplied.
The Flat Aluminium Canopy is suitable for all trades including plumbers, electricians and builders and provides security for your valuable gear. It can be fitted to all light commercial vehicles.
Service Body
Our Services Bodies are designed for tradies who require lock up storage for their gear, whilst still having usable room down the middle of the tray for longer or messy objects. They are built to a heavy duty specification to ensure they can handle the rigours of day-to-day trade use.
The Service Body is fabricated with the same design method as our Heavy Duty Aluminium Tray, utilising a combination of galvanised steel and aluminium. The lockers are constructed from 3 millimetre flat aluminium and the surfaces are powder coated in either white or black.
They feature a 3-point locking system which can be adapted for central locking to ensure all your items are kept safe and secure and are designed to fit all light commercial vehicles.
Canopy v Service Body
So which product best suits your needs? While our canopies and service bodies all offer security and protection for your gear, it depends on what you carry on a regular basis.
A canopy ensures all your gear is waterproof and undercover. It’s an ideal solution for tradies such as electricians who need to keep their gear out of the weather.
On the other hand, a service body offers some space in the middle of the tray for items that need to be kept outside. It’s a great solution for trades such as plumbers who can keep their tools protected on either side of the service body, but can keep their dirty goods and rubbish outside in the middle, away from their tools.
