Fitting out Service Bodies

  • By Fleet Trades

Tradies carry a stack of important and expensive gear with them on their daily travels so it’s important that this gear is kept safe and secure at all times, whilst also being easily accessible on the job site.

Our Service Bodies are designed for the Aussie tradie that requires lockup storage for parts and tools, while still having usable room down the middle of the tray for longer objects.

The floor is fabricated using galvanised steel and aluminium, these Service Bodies can handle the rigours of day-to-day use. The lockers are constructed from 3 millimetre flat aluminium, and all other surfaces are powder coated. They’re designed to fit all light commercial vehicles from single to dual cab utes.

The possibilities are endless when it comes to fitting out your Service Body, both internally and externally. Let us take you through the various options below…

1. Shelving Kits

Tradies love our Shelving Kits because there are so many configurations available. Full width, half width, one shelf, multiple shelves. There’s sure to be a configuration to suit your needs.

2. Drawer Units

We have three different Drawer Units on offer including four, five and six draw sets. Perfect for storing small pieces whilst easily accessible when you need them.

3. Underbody Lockers

Our Underbody Lockers are the ideal storage solution for your loose items such as ropes and cargo straps. They come available in a variety of lengths and shapes including flat bottom or departure angle.

4. Sliding Drawers

Sitting snug between the chassis runners under the tray floor, our Sliding Drawers give you full use of the gap normally left empty. Longer items like shovels can be stored in here, or it can also be compartmentalised for storing smaller items.

5. 15L Water Tank & Soap Dispenser

Hygiene on site has never been more important. Our 15L Water Tank & Soap Dispenser is a handy accessory to have available when there isn’t a bathroom nearby.

6. Roof Racks

Made from robust mild steel or aluminium, our Roof Racks are great for carrying building materials, ladders, conduit, pipes, timber or sheets of material from one place to another.

7. Double Rollers

If you need a bit of help getting things on and off your roof rack, our Double Rollers help you glide items on and off without scraping against your Service Body.

8. Split Front & Rear Racks

Carry large bulky items overhead safely and securely with the help of our Split Front and Rear Racks. Perfect for ladders and other large items.

9. Front & Rear Steps

Reach the top of your Service Body with ease thanks to our Front and Rear Steps. The maximum load they can carry is 100 kilograms.

10. Oxy/Acetylene Bracket

Keep your oxy bottles safe and secure no matter where you’re travelling with our Oxy/Acetylene Brackets. They sit tucked away in the middle of the Service Body.
